I grew up in Southern California, but now I live in Seattle, Washington. I'm married to an amazing wife and together we're raising three super-cool kids (and an adorable cat too).
Professionally, I'm a Senior Principal Engineer at Atlassian where I set technical vision and define architecture for global navigation and admin experiences.
I'm a bit of a geek: I’ve been writing software of some sort since I was 12 and I’m fluent in JavaScript, C#, C++, Java, PHP, (X)HTML, CSS, and Sass.
I like to write some open-source software every now and then.
I earned my bachelor's degree at Cal Poly Pomona, where I majored in Computer Science. I've also earned a master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington.
On my spare time, I like to hang out with my family and check out new breweries. We've built quite the brewery sticker collection on our kegerator so far.
